Reppo II Is B.A. degree work of Joonas Saaranen From Finland University of Lapland. Reppo II is an urban hardshell backpack with speakers and amplifier to spice up the party outside. It turn heads and creates unique atmosphere.

  1. With a twelve-pack of Lapin Kulta in one hand, and a cigarette in the other….:)

    Attractively designed, and very innovative–useful for a walk in the woods. It would be interesting to see how the forest fauna react. Would they run screaming from you, or charge towards you with all their might to get you to be quiet!

    Or, used in an urban atmosphere, playing hard rock loudly, one would have to beware of real rocks (the kind people like to throw).

    I’m sure that there are some practical applications for this beautiful, clever tool.

  2. I have seen a group of Vishnu kult adepts going along Aleksanterinkatu with dance and songs. I was surprised how loud their song was, although they were only about 10-15 persons, but when they come closer I realized that their sound going from the speaker on the top of the pole one guy was carrying. A player system was wore on that person’s back in primitive wooden box. This backpack reminded me that device, I believe that at least they would be glad to have it!
