Pulseline bookshelf

This shelf concept created by Måns Salomonsen, Swedish design student on Stenebyskolan, under the Gothenburg University.

Måns says about it:

It’s obvious to see where I got my inspiration from, the heartbeat. The shape was of particular interest to me and I wanted to create a piece of furniture from it. I wanted to create something out of a common shape that everyone knows and can relate to. The shelf is a mix of wall art, just as a showoff object in itself. And it is good as storage for some magazines that you like and also provide some flat areas where you can display objects, for example a photo frame or a small sculpture. The thin side surface is painted with fluorescent paint that glows in the dark and creates a shining “pulse-line”.

Hope to get it produced soon..
