I making a SEO technology research about how the rank of the listings in Google maps can affect the general Google rank of the site. Can you help me?

Some preliminary results of the Google maps research: after about a month after submission of your reviews the listing of Hot Snow is on the 3-d place in search result for words “graafinen suunnittelu” (Graphic design in Finnish), it’s a really good result indeed! In web search listings for same phrase the listing of Hot Snow is even does not in the 100 first results… So I need to presume that Google maps and web search rankings doesn’t affect each other much.
