Lordi! Lordi! Lordi! Lordi! Lordi! Lordi!

I didn't wanted to write about it, because I don't like Eurovision Song Contests and all related politic junk. Phil already wrote about it on his Finland for thought blog, and many others across the blogosphere certanly did. I hear already jokes about Lordi on my work and on TV in cofee shop.

The first thing that come in my mind after their victory was: is Finland ready to be a host for the next Eurovision Song Contest? Is there enough places and forces to provide security on the streets during this event, and is Hartwall arena enough big for that?

Okay, I do believe that everything will be fine, and guests will be satisfied with Lapin Kulta, Karjalanpiirakka and the rhubarb juice. I am more concerned about the style of new contest. Lordi broke the boring spirit of Eurovision and the smartest way to give some twist to next contest would be to use of Hard-rock symbols and style in decorations and videographics. It would be also reasonable to invite some icons like Ville Valo, Tarja Turunen, etc.

But I afraid it will be as always: byrches, swans, raindeers and lakes… why not to put some biker mob at the background at least?
