If you happened to live in Helsinki region (Espoo, Helsinki, Kauniainen ja Vantaa), this web service of Helsinki Metropolitan Area Council (YTV) is absolutely essential.
You just type a street addresses, name of stops in the text fields of origins and destinations, and viola - you have the route with all possible public transport connections and even walking distances. You can view your route as list of avialable transport modes and lines, or you can see it marked on the map.
