From NOTAM site:
Nydalen Stasjon (Nydalen Station) is the first of three new Metro stations in Osloâ™s new circular underground line, opening in August 2003. The station is a freestanding entrance pavilion, situated in a triangular park, with an underground station hall, 110 metres long and 12 metres below ground level.
The architect of Nydalen Stasjon (Nydalen Station), Kristin Jarmund, initiated the “Tunnel of Lightâ project, and a group of artists have over the past 2 ½ years cooperated closely in the development of the multimedia concept. Finland for Thought » Racial Discrimination in The Deep North | Politics, current events, culture – In Finland & United States | An American's blog in Finland:
Hank W, guest blogger on Finland for Thought, wrote recently notable article about racial discrimination in Finland, based on Helsingin Sanomat's coverage of proof of discrimination in Pori. For those, who did not follow it, a short excerpt from Helsingin Sanomat:
Last weekend, a group of four Roma with two witnesses along for the ride finally decided to obtain proof of discrimination. After all the restaurants they visited either denied entrance or refused service, they notified the local police of the offences on Monday.
“We reported the crimes to the police, as this is public discrimination”, notes Dimitri Hagert, who is a member of the working-group of local Roma.
Hank's article triggered hot discussion, showing that racial discrimination exists in Finland even in minds of appearing to be 'intelligent' and 'progressive-minded' people.

Itching for Eestimaa:Giustino
One of blogs I read on regular basis is the Itching for Eestimaa by Giustino, the guy who lives in NY and learn Estonian language. Since I know little Finnish, and these two languages are from one group, I can imagine how difficult to get used these jungles of Finn-Ugric grammar… Giustino has a brave heart and writes his exercises on his blog, and it's amazing and touching to see how locals helping him by explaining meanings of words and correcting mistakes.

We wrote recently about remarkable house of Jesper Voetmann Mikkelsen, and here the picture taken inside this building:
“This is the livingroom. There is nearly 6 meters from floor to roof. The photo is taken before we moved in. I will soon upload some newer photos…”
This house built in similar technic like monolitic domes, you can read about them on monolithic.org. Jasper also was so kind to post architecture plans of this building, that certanly worth to check out.
Go to his photostream on flickr to see more pictures of this inspiring house!
