I came across the great work of Copenhagen based studio, Louise Campbell, while perusing lifeiscarbon® Scandinavian Æsthetics (a great scandinavian resource).
Louise Campbell has also been highly involved with the Walk The Plank initiative, a collaboration between 30 furniture designers and 60 cabinetmakers, who have all donated their time and original designs to improve the design environment in Denmark.

Architects Gert Wingårdh and Tomas Hansen from Wingårdh Architects, designed the winning entry for the Swedish Embassy in Washington D.C. The House of Sweden resides in the heart of Georgetown and opened in 2006. check out arcspace for more information.

Sweden is to be the first country to open an embassy in the online world of
Second Life. The project is being put forth by the
Swedish Institute (a great Swedish resource in itself), as a means of providing information about Sweden to the roughly three million Second Life users worldwide.

A warning label on a washing machine at a laundromat that warns, âœDo not put any person in this washerâ has been chosen as the nationâ™s wackiest warning label in M-LAWâ™s annual Wacky Warning Label Contest.
The contest, now in its tenth year, is conducted by Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch, M-LAW, to reveal how lawsuits, and concern about lawsuits, have created a need for common sense warnings on products.
