“Hardcore is used to refer to an extreme dedication to a specific activity
or to something more intense than the regular mainstream.
It can also be understood as the most authentic part or the essential

Pursuing a Degree in Fashion Designing It’s easier to get into the fashion industry if you have a fashion design degree. Fashion design is a wonderful and exciting job.
There are many famous fashion designers around the world, such as Giorgio Armani, Donna Karan and Ralph Lauren. You can also be a famous fashion designer if you dedicate yourself to your craft.
As a fashion designer, you have several career paths to choose from. You can be a pattern maker or a designer’s assistant. Another interesting option is to make costumes for actors to wear in movies and television dramas. (more…)

Hi all lovers of Nordic Design! Personal manager of Eero Aarnio just dropped me a short note that first Eero Aarnio web shop is open. It is a very remarkable move, I rushed to visit their store and was pleased to see Eero greeting visitors of their brand new shop.
There is a lot of stuff to observe, take your time, I was impressed by The Tree, personally.

Terri Mapes from About.com recently wrote an article about celebrating Labour Day in Scandinavian Countries:
Labour Day in Scandinavia (also called May Day) takes place on May 1 every year, following Walpurgis Night on April 30. Labour Day in Scandinavia is a celebrated public holiday – and quite visible. Visitors can see lots of festivities, parades, and other celebrations every year on the first of May in Scandinavia when locals celebrate Labour Day. You’ll find special events in every city on this day.

I can add that in Finland there is a holiday called “Vappu”, it’s mostly dedicated to persons graduated to some high school level, and whole Suomi selebrating this day with special for this day Sima (light alcoholic beverage) Tippaleipä (some kind of cake similar to Funnel cake), donuts and potato salad. People wearing white student caps everywhere and funny masks on parties.
