Love is a spiritual bond between the sole and Valentine’s Day (February 14th) enhances this spiritual bond. For centuries, people have celebrated Valentine’s Day. The day is named after two legendary saints of the 3rd century: Valentine of Rome and Valentine of Interamna (modern Terni). The former was a Roman priest and physician; the latter, the Bishop of Terni. To honor these two Roman Martyrs the day may have originated in Rome as a feast day but now it is celebrated all over the world by Presenting flower, sending poem, offering confectioneries and Valentine’s Cards.
Different expertise gives various opinions as to the origin of Valentine’s Day. According to the statement of some experts, that it originated from St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. And he was died on February 14th, 269 A.D, the same day that had been celebrated devoted to love lotteries. Legend also says that Saint Valentine served as a priest during the third century in Rome, the region of Emperor Claudius ll. The emperor decided that single men made better soldiers than he outlawed marriage for young men. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine’s actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death. Other aspects of the story say that St. Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer’s daughter– who had become his friend or beloved–who visited him during his confinement and signed it "From Your Valentine".
Whatever the story, this day is one of the best selections for love greeting for the occasion, recipes, history, and much more.
